Sir / Madam,
With the easing of Lockdown restrictions and decision taken by the Government of India to commence operation of Hotels, Restaurants and other Hospitality Units, w.e.f. 8th June 2020 (other than in containment zones in the country), it is essential for all hotels, restaurants and hospitality units to take suitable measures to restrict any further transmission of COVID-19 while providing accommodation and other tourist services.
2. Enclosed herewith are the SOPs on preventive measures in Hotels & Other Hospitality Units and Restaurants to contain spread of COVID-19, issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The measures recommended in the SOPs would also help in creating confidence amongst travellers and tourists.
3. It is requested that the same may be widely disseminated amongst all concerned stakeholders and members of your Associations / Organisations for necessary compliance.
With kind regards,
Yours sincerely,
Rupinder Brar
Additional Director General
