SUB: FHRAI MEMBERS ARE REQUESTED TO PARTICIPATE IN ‘HAR GHAR TIRANGA’ INITIATIVE

Dear Member,

This has reference to Government of India’s 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM)’ Celebration to honour 75 years of India's independence and glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. It is pertinent to mention that the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is 75-Week celebrations that began on 12th March 2021 and would continue till 15th August 2023.

In furtherance to AKAM, the government has initiated ‘Har Gar Tiranga’; an initiative to celebrate the Indian Flag.  Har Ghar Tiranga initiative envisages to  inspire Indians everywhere to hoist the national flag at their homes to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the citizens and to promote awareness about our national flag. 

The Ministry of Tourism has advised FHRAI to encourage its members and their employees for successful implementation of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ by hoisting the Indian National Flag at office, home, hotel, restaurant, B&B establishment, home-stay etc.. To create awareness about the initiative, the information may be uploaded on your website and also on the social media handles of your organization and of your employees.

For more information on Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, you may visit the website https://harghartiranga.com/ . The formats and logos for the campaign can be downloaded from the website. One can also hoist a virtual flag on the website and generate an appreciation certificate for this.
