Subject: Information regarding accommodation capacity in hotels and other accommodation, establishments, percentage utilisation and revenue from different declared tariff slabs

Dear Member,

In GST Council meeting held on 21.07.2018, it has been decided that for the purpose of computing tax rate applicable instead of declared tariff, the actual value of supply i.e. transaction value would be adopted. A notification No. 13/2018-CT(R) dated 26.7.2018 effective from 27.7.2018 has also been issued giving effect to this change.

For future reference and study of the impact on occupancy, the following information as applicable for FY 2017-18 is required by Ministry of Finance. Kindly furnish the information in the attached Excel Sheet to FHRAI office by 8th August,2018.
