Subject: Investigation by CCI in the Complaint case filed by FHRAI

Dear Member,

As you are aware that FHRAI had filed a complaint case against OTAs (Make My Trip, Go Ibibio and Oyo) before the Hon’ble CCI in 2019. Subsequently, Hon’ble CCI vide order dated 28th October,2019 directed the Director General (DG, CCI) to conduct an investigation on this matter.

DG, CCI is in the process of investigating the matter and may approach Members of FHRAI in this regard.

Members of FHRAI are requested to co-operate with the investigation in case anyone is called for queries as the same is in the larger interest of our industry. Members are further informed that they can seek confidentiality if they wish with respect to their response to the Queries and information sought by CCI. However such confidentiality is to be sought in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the CCI.

Further, if any Member have any information supporting the complaint which they wishes to provide to the FHRAI for submission to CCI, the same may be provided expeditiously.
