Vrindavan, 3rd June 2025: In a meaningful step towards promoting wellness and environmental responsibility, the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), in association with Jiva Ayurveda, organized a special “Harit Yoga” session at Jivagram, located in the serene surroundings of Krishnabhumi, Vrindavan. The initiative was supported by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, and saw an encouraging turnout from hospitality professionals, wellness advocates, foreign nationals, and local community members.
Following the yoga session, a tree plantation drive titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” was conducted, further emphasizing the collective commitment to environmental conservation. The morning began at 7:00 AM with a guided yoga practice and concluded by 8:00 AM, after which participants enthusiastically planted saplings across the lush Jivagram premises. A total of 90 individuals took part in the initiative, including 25 foreign nationals representing 10 different countries.
Harit Yoga is one of the ten signature programs envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. It symbolizes the convergence of environmental mindfulness with physical and spiritual well-being. Rooted deeply in India’s ancient yogic traditions, the initiative is a call to embrace holistic health, sustainability, and conscious living.
The serene and spiritual setting of Vrindavan served as the perfect backdrop, reinforcing the values of self-awareness and oneness with nature. Dignitaries in attendance included Mr. Satyanarayan Dass – President, Jiva Ayurveda; Dr. Partap Chauhan – Director, Jiva Ayurveda; Mr. Madhusudan Chauhan – CEO, Jiva Ayurveda; Mr. Ravee Shankar – Chief Marketing Officer, Krishnabhumi; and Mr. Jagannath Poddar – Editor-in-Chief, Vrindavan Today. Their presence added depth and significance to the event, underscoring the shared commitment to wellness and sustainability.
Sharing his thoughts, Mr. Madhusudan Chauhan, CEO, Jiva Ayurveda, said, "Harit Yoga is more than just a practice; it is a lifestyle rooted in simplicity, balance, and sustainability.
