Sub:- Increase in the Validity of E-Medical Visa to One Year
Dear Member,
Please be informed that, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India vide Office Memorandum dated 31 July 2026, has informed that visas for both Medical and Ayush treatment are covered under the e-Visa framework and are available to nationals of 171 countries/nationalities.
Further, the Ministry of Home Affairs has recently revised the provisions relating to e-Medical and e-Ayush visas. The validity of the e-Medical visa has been increased from 60 days to one year and the permitted entries have been revised from triple entries to multiple entries.
