Subject: Furnishing of details of Lending Availed under Harmonised Master List of Infrastructure (HML) for Development of Hotels/Resorts
Dear Members,
This is to inform you that the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has drafted a framework (Concept Note) in pursuance of the Budget Announcements, namely:
- Para 75 – Top 50 tourist destination sites in the country will be developed in partnership with States through a challenge mode. Land for building key infrastructure will have to be provided by States. Hotels in those destinations will be included in the Infrastructure Harmonised Master List (HML)
- Para 76(4) – Providing Performance-Linked Incentives to States for effective destination management including tourist amenities, cleanliness, and marketing efforts.

In this context, the Ministry of Tourism has requested data from industry stakeholders regarding lending availed under the existing Harmonised Master List of Infrastructure classification by member organisations for development of hotels, resorts, etc.
Accordingly, all members are requested to furnish the requisite information in the format given below:
