Subject:- Inviting Suggestions for the Union Budget 2026–27
Dear Member,
This is to inform you that the Ministry of Tourism is in the process of preparing its inputs for the Union Budget 2026–27.
In this regard, the Ministry has sought inputs from travel and tourism industry associations to provide comprehensive recommendations on direct and indirect taxes, together with the rationale and justification, to facilitate the formulation of proposals for consideration in the forthcoming Union Budget.
It may kindly be noted that GST-related matters are outside the scope of this exercise.
Members are requested to share their suggestions and recommendations on direct and indirect taxation to eatosg@fhrai.com by 6th November 2025, to enable timely submission of a consolidated proposal to the Ministry of Tourism.
