Sub:- Issue of Commercial Airport Entry Pass (AEP)

Dear Member,

This is to inform you that the Ministry of Civil Aviation has considered the request of Trade Associations regarding the change in criteria for the issuance of Commercial Airport Entry Pass (AEP) to the recognised Tour Operators & Hotels (Four Star, Five Star & Five Star Deluxe) and made the following changes.

i.              Two Commercial AEPs may be issued to Tour Operators having annual turnover upto Rs. 20 Crore.
ii.            Four Commercial AEPs may be issued to Tour Operators having annual turnover upto Rs. 20 Crore to Rs. 50 Crore.
iii.           Eight Commercial AEPs may be issued to Tour Operators having annual turnover more than Rs. 50 Crore.
iv.           Two Commercial AEPs may be issued to 4 star hotels and four Commercial AEPs to 5 star and 5 star deluxe hotels.
v.            The base year for turnover requirement for the purpose of issuance of commercial AEPs to the Tour Operators may be considered as the pre- covid period i.e Financial year 2019-20.

In this regard, Ministry of Tourism has issued an Office Memorandum. A copy of the same is enclosed for your information.
