Dear Member,
We are delighted to offer the delegates attending the FHRAI Annual Convention 2026 an exclusive opportunity to experience the enchanting Subah-e-Banaras—the iconic early morning celebration of the rising sun on the sacred River Ganges. This unforgettable experience will be organised through a specially curated cruise ride on 23rd August 2026.
This serene and spiritually enriching journey offers a unique opportunity to witness the cultural and religious essence of Varanasi at dawn. The experience will be conducted aboard two premium cruises—Vivekanand and Manekshaw—from 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Accompanied by guided storytelling, the cruise will take delegates past the city's prominent ghats, while bringing alive the rich history, culture, traditions, and spiritual heritage of Varanasi.
As the Convention is being held during the monsoon season, when river conditions are prone to fluctuations, the movement of cruises is subject to operational restrictions. Consequently, only a limited number of seats are available on the above-mentioned cruises, which are specially equipped to operate during this period.
Delegates are requested to note that the programme will be conducted strictly subject to prevailing weather conditions and the permissions granted by the local authorities for the operation of cruises on the River Ganges.
Since the number of seats is limited, delegates are encouraged to register at the earliest by completing the Google Form provided below. There is no additional registration fee for this cruise experience for registered Convention delegates.
